The Jacksonville Bullies have stopped operating for the remainder of the 2012 PLL season according to people within the organization. They end their season 3-1 and leave just two teams in the Professional Lacrosse League.
The Bullies are the second team to stop operations this year, after the Jersey Rascals stopped before the season got underway. This leaves two teams — the Reading Rockets and Charlotte Copperheads — to finish the league's inaugural season.
Not including Jax, there are three teams set to join the league next season if it continues.
